السياسات التى تقوم الإدارة العامة للسياسات في الدولة على تنفيذها طبقاً لخطط إستراتيجية بعيدة المدى، وتهدف أجهزته ووحداته إلى خدمة أهداف الدولة، وتعمل كوسيط بين الحكومة والمجتمع، يوجد مسئولي الإدارة العامة في الوزارات والمؤسسات والإدارات والوحدات الاقتصادية العامة الحكومية على المستويين المركزي والمحلي. علاوة على ذلك، وتتبع أجهزة الإدارة العامة قواعد وإجراءات محددة يلتزم بها الموظفون الذين يؤدون المهام الموكلة إليهم. تستند مهامهم الروتينية عالية المستوى إلى التخصص، والاحتراف العالي والقواعد القانونية.
العلاقة بين النظام السياسي في الدولة وأداء أجهزة الإدارة العامة فيها علاقة محددة وتعود في جذورها إلى واقع العلاقة المتداخلة بين حقل الإدارة العامة وحقل العلوم السياسية.
وسواء تم تناول الإدارة العامة ضمن سياق العلوم السياسية أو في إطار حقل مستقل له حدوده وهويته العلمية فإن تأثر أداء أجهزة الإدارة العامة في الدولة بطبيعة النظام السياسي وخصائصه الهيكلية والوظيفية يشكل قاسما مشتركا بين معظم الكتاب والباحثين.

Their high-level routine tasks are based on specialization, high professionalism and legal rules.
The relationship between the political system in the state and the performance of its public administration bodies is specific and goes back to the reality of the intertwined relationship between the field of public administration and the field of political science.
Context of political science or within the framework of an independent field with its own boundaries and scientific identity, the influence of the performance of public administration agencies in the state on the nature of the political system and its structural and functional characteristics constitutes a common denominator among most writers and researchers.
