هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على واقع القيادة الأخلاقية والتميز التنافسي وکذلک معرفة أثر القيادة الأخلاقية على التميز التنافسي. واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وتم جمع البيانات اللازمة للدراسة عن طريق استمارة الاستبيان وتم تحليلها ومعالجتها باستخدام SPSS. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: ان مستوى القيادة الأخلاقية في البنوک الليبية قيد الدراسة يعتبر ضعيف حيث جاء في الترتيب الاولي الالتزام الأخلاقي. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين خصائص العينة متمثلة في (المؤهل العملي، الوظيفية، الخبرة، النوع) تعزى الى القيادة الأخلاقية ودورها في احداث التمييز التنافسي في البنوک الليبية.

The study aimed to identify the reality of ethical leadership and competitive excellence and explore the impact of ethical leadership competitive excellence .The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and collected the data using the questionnaire. Then, the data is analyzed and processed using the spss the study found a collection of findings and the most important of which are The level of ethical leadership in the Libyan banks under study is low were the ethical commitment of top management came first followed by the ethical culture, ethical training and ethical code. There are no statistically significant differences among sample characteristics (qualification, position, experience, gender) which are attributed to the ethical leadership and its role in achieving the competitive excellence in the Libyan banks.
