تناولت هذه الدراسة انعکاسات المبادرة الخليجية على عملية الإصلاح السياسي في اليمن وتکمن أهمية هذه الدراسة من خلال تقييمها لعملية الإصلاح وذلک للمساعدة في الکشف عن المشاکل والنتائج التي تترتب على عدم القيام بعملية الإصلاح، فالقيام بالإصلاحات هي بمثابة الشرعية البديلة والسلمية، عن المشروعية الثورية وطرق التغيير ألقسري. تکمن مشکلة الدراسة في الغموض الذي رافق عملية الإصلاح لذلک لم تکن قادرة هذه الإصلاحات على نقل السلطة في اليمن کما انها أدت الى التدخلات الخارجية في الشأن اليمن، وتوصلت الدراسة الى ان هذه التدخلات قد تنعکس سلبا على اليمن وقد يؤدي ذلک الى شرذمته بين عدة کيانات مرتبطة بقوي خارجية متصارعة.

The study deals wif the implications of Gulf initiative on the political reform of Yemen process. The importance of the study is in its assessment of the reform process in order to halp in the detection of problems and the consequences of not performing the reform process, since reforms serve as a peaceful and legal alternative for legitimacy and revolutionary approaches of compulsory changes. The problem of the study is in the ambiguity of reform process, so these reforms were unable to power transfer in Yemen. As well as it led to regional and international interventions in Yemen affairs, which reflected negatively on the Yemeni crisis. The study found dat the Gulf initiative led to more regional and international interference in Yemeni affairs.
