ناقشت هذه الدراسة التطورات التي مرت بها العلاقات الترکية السورية، منذ وصول حزب العدالة والتنمية ذي التوجهات الإسلامية الى السلطة في ترکيا | عام ۲۰۰۲م.
والاستراتيجية التي أتبعها الحزب في سياسته الخارجية تجاه سوريا،  وکيف أثرت تلک السياسات على مسار العلاقات بين البلدين، والفوائد التي تحققت الکلا البلدين
کما تناولت أيضا الموقف الترکي من الأزمة السورية التي اندلعت في مارس ۲۰۱۱م، وأثرها على مسار العلاقات بين البلدين وعلى النفوذ والدور الترکي في المنطقة العربية بأسرها وعلى الوضع السياسي في الداخل الترکي
This study discussed the developments experienced, by the Turkish-Syrian relations, since the arrival of the Justice and Development Party, the Islamist orientations to power in Turkey in 2002. The strategy, followed by the party in its foreign policy toward Syria, and how those policies have affected the course of relations between the two countries, and the benefits that have been achieved for both countries.. It also addressed the Turkish position on the Syrian crisis that erupted in March 2011, and its impact on the course of relations between the two countries and the role of the Turkish influence and in the Arab region as a whole and on the political situation in the Turkish inside himself..
