تقييم تجربة التحول الديمقراطي في اليمن (1990 - 2014)

يتمثل الهدف الرئيسي للبحث في استعراض أهم مظاهر التحول الديمقراطي في اليمن وتقييم التجربة ومدى اقترابها من عملية تحول ديمقراطي حقيقية. ويمکن القول إن التجربة اليمنية حققت اقترابا من النظام الديمقراطي، لکنها لم تصل إلى تحقيق غاية الديمقراطية وإيجاد مشارکة ومنافسة حقيقية تحقق تداول سلمي للسلطة. وحتى بتصنيف حالة التطور الديمقراطية في اليمن کنوع من الديمقراطية الانتخابية، فإن التجربة يکتنفها عيوب جوهرية.
                     Abstract:
The main objective of this study is to show the most important manifestations of democratization in Yemen and evaluate the experience and how it approached a real process of democratic transition. It could be said that the Yemeni experience made closer to the democratic system, but did not reach achieve the goal democracy and the creation of participation and real competition achieved a peaceful rotation of power. Even classify the state of democracy in Yemen as a sort of electoral democracy; the experience shrouded fundamental flaws.
